Zenie Joyce Hanie

Zenie Joyce Brooks Hanie  Age 84 of Douglasville, Georgia passed away Wednesday January 8,2025.  Joyce was born April 9,1940 to Mildred and Luther Coggins.  Joyce was of Christian faith and a member of the Church of Christ in Douglasville, Georgia and Atlanta, Georgia.  Joyce was a homemaker and Mother of 4 children. She is predeceased by husband John David Hanie Jr 28 years. A daughter Terri Lynn Weaver. A son Michael David Coney .  Parents Mildred and Luther Coggins, Brothers...Robert, Marion, and John Coggins, all of Atlanta Georgia. 

Joyce is survived by one daughter Lauri Shennan, husband Leigh Shennan of Powder Springs, Georgia, and a son Howard Leslie Brooks, wife Cindy Brooks of Douglasville, Georgia.  6 living Grandchildren and 2 deceased Grandchildren, 9 Great Grandchildren ,one Sister Marie Settle husband Charles Settle of Carrollton, Georgia, A brother David Coggins, wife Stella Coggins of Winterville, Georgia and a number of Nieces and Nephews . 

A memorial for celebration of life will be announced and held at a later date.
