Stacy O'Kelley Atlanta, Georgia
Stacy O'Kelley didn't just enter a room. He filled it. He was living proof that some people are just built differently. More warmth, more grit, and more love than the rest of us combined. Stacy had a smile that could stop traffic, a bear hug that touched your soul, and a presence so large it seemed like the world got a little quieter the moment he left it. He passed away peacefully on April 24, 2026, at the age of 56, surrounded by those he loved the most.
Born in Griffin, Georgia, Stacy was a proud country boy through and through, a man who loved guns, sweet tea, good conversations, and the kind of storytelling that made you forget what time it was. He had catchphrases that became legend, a sparkle that never left his eyes, and a strength that carried everyone around him.
For over 20 years, Stacy built the Fur Bus, Atlanta's beloved rolling party, where he was the heart of the business. He chauffeured countless people through their most special occasions, creating joy, making memories, and leaving every passenger feeling like they'd met someone extraordinary. Because they had.
His greatest achievement was never in question. It was his family.
Stacy was the beloved husband and best friend of Allyson O’Kelley, and a devoted father to Jacob (Anna), Jonah (Jillian), and Joshua (Autumn). He was also a father figure to Trevor Paulk and Ashley Delgado. Nothing brought him more pride than being “PawPaw” to his grandson, Dallas O’Kelley.
He is also survived by his parents, Robert and Anne O’Kelley; his brothers, Steve (Lynn) and Shane; and a large extended family of relatives and friends who meant the world to him.
During his final days at Piedmont Hospital, the staff remarked, over and over again, that they had never seen so many people visit a single patient. That says everything you need to know about Stacy O'Kelley.
It has been said that his heart simply couldn't contain the amount of love he had for the world. He loved so fully, so loudly, and so generously that perhaps it's no surprise his heart eventually gave out, not from weakness, but from years of working overtime.
He was loved beyond measure. And he had an extraordinary way of loving back.
