Rosetta E. Groce-King

Rosetta E. Groce-King (Rose) passed away surrounded by her loved ones into God's arms and reunited with her then fiance Kenneth Lundy on April 25, 2025 after several months battling health complications.

Rose was born on August 21, 1966 in Harrisburg, PA. Where ever she was, she brought a calming presence to a room and full of laughter. Rose loved to travel and see different parts of the United States. She visited 40 of the 50 states and Washington DC including California, Arizona, Nevada, Florida, New York just to name a few. Her final state was the state of Georgia where she resided until her passing. Rose also enjoyed Seafood from different parts of the U.S. and passed down that trait to her children.

Rose is survived by her partner, Corey Groce; son, David M. King; son, Kenneth L. King; daughter, Mariah King; and mother, Gloria L. Anderson. Rose wants to be remembered for her outgoing personality and ability to make you laugh no matter what mood you were in, she would make you smile.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date this year followed by the spreading of her ashes in the Atlantic Ocean in the Florida waters.
