It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ronald Privett, a beloved father, brother, grandfather, and friend, who departed this life peacefully on February 7, 2026, in Lake City, Georgia, at the age of 71. Ronald was born on May 2, 1954, in Cedar Town, Georgia, to Charles and Daisey Privett.
Ronald will be remembered as a vibrant, outgoing spirit who brought joy and laughter to everyone around him. Known as the life of the party, he had a unique ability to connect with people, making every gathering brighter and more memorable. His warm and loving nature endeared him to all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
A proud veteran, Ronald served his country in the Army, a commitment that showcased his dedication and sense of duty. He carried those values throughout his life, instilling them in his family and friends.
Ronald is preceded in death by his beloved brother Tommy, brother Kenneth, and sister Louise. His absence will be profoundly felt by the many lives he touched. He is survived by his cherished daughter, Stephanie Privett Tibbs; his son, Jeffrey Privett; his sister, Linda Privett Garey,. Grandfather to Kylie Smith, Khloe Tibbs, and Paislee Tibbs.
In addition to his immediate family, Ronald leaves behind several cousins and countless friends who will forever hold his memory close to their hearts. His legacy of love, fun, and kindness will live on through all who knew him.
