Pamela Jean Munyon, born February 2, 1951, and raised in Chagrin Falls, Ohio, entered into the arms of her Lord and Savior on May 3, 2026, after a resilient two-year battle with cancer. She was the devoted wife of Chester Munyon, whom she married on August 3, 1996.

Pam was the proud mother of Rick (Cheri) Mattson and Ron Mattson, and the loving grandmother of Hannah Marie, Renae Loren, and Holly Jean. She also leaves behind her mother, Shirley Smith, and her younger siblings, Gary, Denise, and David.

A graduate of the University of South Florida, Pam retired from the Hillsborough County School System where she taught high school English. In retirement, she authored the children’s book Chip & Harley Go to Town and became a faithful member of Pierce Chapel Global Methodist Church in Columbus, GA, where a celebration of life will be held at a later date to be determined.

Pam’s exceptional talents and interests were diverse. She loved the beach, collecting shells, cooking, gardening, creating hydrocal art pieces, and fashion. Pam leaves a lasting legacy of faith, generosity, elegance, and deep love for her family and friends.

"Well done, good and faithful servant...Enter into the joy of your Lord.” — Matthew 25:21
