Nelda Gail Willis, born June 25, 1944, in Oakdale, Louisiana, passed away on August 26, 2026, in Atlanta, Georgia. Born to Eddie Willis Ray, she was later adopted by Frank and Laura Willis.
She leaves behind her daughter, Michelle Naquin Guinn; her two grandchildren; one great-grandchild; her brothers, John Willis and IV Willis; and many cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents and her siblings, Lizzie, Ruth, Dollie, and Roy Willis.
Nelda cherished her friends and family, and her compassionate spirit will be deeply missed by all those she served during her time at Mother Teresa's House.
