Michael Allan Self

Michael Allan Self, age 72, of Dalton, Georgia, passed away August 30, 2025 at home.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Mae Dillard Hawkins. He is survived by 2 daughters, Shelley and Alana, a brother, Richard Gammon, 2 granddaughters, numerous nieces and nephews, and close friends who cared for him while on hospice care the last months of his life.

The family would like to thank Heartlite Hospice, especially Sandy, for the care and compassion shown to Mike during his last days.

A graveside service will be held at a later date.
