June Montjoy, born on May 13, 1942, in Gastonia, North Carolina, passed away peacefully on August 4, 2026, in Fairburn, Georgia. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, leaving behind a legacy of love and dedication to her family and community.

June is survived by her daughter, Ann-Marie Thompson, along with her son-in-law, Keith Thompson. She cherished her role as a grandmother to Kevin (Tiffany) Thompson and James (Sara) Thompson, and took immense pride in being a great-grandmother to Madison, Amelia, Grayson, Mia, Abbey, Emalee Reding, and Hayden Reding. Her family was the center of her universe, and she took great joy in watching her children compete in three-day eventing.

A passionate real estate broker, June enjoyed educating and mentoring many on the profession. She actively contributed to her community as a former member of the South Fulton Parkway Alliance, where she served as Secretary, and held a position on the board of the Cochran Mill Nature Center for many years.

June Montjoy's warm spirit and dedication to her family and community will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her legacy will continue through the lives of her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

June was preceded in death by: husband, Bill Montjoy, parents, Margaret and Kenneth Groves, sister, Brenda Redd, brother in law, Pickens Redd, brother, John Groves, and daughter, Dina Double
