Kenneth Shawn Carter, 45 fell asleep in death peacefully on January 9, 2026, at Redmond Hospital in Rome, GA. surrounded by his loving family.
Kenneth was born February 21, 1980 to parents Glenn Edward Carter and Janice Gayle (Bennett) Carter of Tunnel Hill, GA. Kenneth was preceded in death by his father, Glenn Edward Carter of Chatsworth, GA. and his older brother Sherman Edward Carter of Paducah, KY.
Kenneth is survived by his Loving wife of 20 years Patricia Carter, his devoted mother and Step-father Janice (Gayle) and Patrick Francis of Calhoun GA. Kenneth left behind a rich legacy including his four children Logan Carter and his fiance Crystal, Candi Carter, Damion Carter Arayna Carter as well as his three Granddaughters.
Kenneth lit up any room with his infectious smile and his unique sense of humor. Kenneth worked for many years in the Public Service Industry with his friends Chip and McKay Brindle of Chatsworth GA. and he was considered vital Personnel during the COVID Pandemic.
Kenneth was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, son and brother-and he will be greatly missed.
