Kenneth Michael “Mike” Bidaman
Kenneth Michael “Mike” Bidaman, age 85, passed away at his home in Suwanee, GA with his family by his side. Mike was born in York, PA and was the devoted son of Richard Bidaman and Ruth (Arbogast) Bidaman. He enjoyed attending William Penn High School in Harrisburg, PA and went on to graduate from Muhlenberg College in Allentown, PA. He also served in the Air Force National Guard over a period of 6 years. Mike eventually became head of a loving family and built a long and respected career in the retail and apparel industry, where he was known for his integrity, sound judgement, and steady leadership. He worked for Pomeroy's in Harrisburg, PA and Miller & Rhodes in Reading, PA. He subsequently was employed by Health-Tex and later held senior leadership roles with Skyland International and Buster Brown. He went on to serve as President and Chief Operating Officer of Ocean Pacific Childrenswear and later as Vice President of Ocean Pacific Images. He ended his long career with Promotional Headwear where he enjoyed working with the owner Abe Yeddis, with whom he had deep affection. Mike took great pride in his work and genuinely enjoyed the people he met and the relationships (i.e., Mike Tewey) he formed along the way. Above all, Mike loved his family. His wife, children, and grandchildren meant everything to him, and he was deeply proud of the life he built with them. He is survived by his wife Marty of 62 years, his sons Michael (Maureen) and David, his daughter, Kristen (David) and grandsons, Mathew and Mikey. Mike will be remembered for his quiet strength, his strong sense of responsibility, and the care and attention he provided to those that he loved.
