Kathy Laraine Bennett

Laraine, a dedicated caregiver and devoted daughter, passed peacefully on January 8, 2025 following an extended illness. 

Laraine is survived by her sisters; Dianne (Ed) Ramer of McDonough and Beth Meeks of Auburn, Georgia; two nieces; Kimberly James (Bryan) and Amy Meeks. One nephew Paul Meeks and one great nephew Kasen James. In addition, she is survived by her maternal aunts; Joyce Johnson of Ocala, Florida and Cathy Fountain (Arthur) of Eastman, Georgia. 

She is predeceased by parents Wyman Bennett and Jerlene Williams; sister Teresa Bennett, brother Wilbon (Bo) Williams and sister Tabitha Williams. 

Laraine was born March 20,1961 and lived most of her life in her hometown of Eastman where she was known by many of the town’s people from her work as a CNA. 

She loved word search puzzles, crocheting and her faithful companion Little Bit. 

Laraine requested that no services be held and that she join her family at Bay Springs Cemetery in Eastman. The family humbly requests that you raise awareness for COPD.
