Debra Lynn Brown

Debra Lynn Rutledge Brown, 76 of Piedmont, AL. Was born June, 14, 1949 Atlanta, Ga and Died July 18, 2025 in Atlanta Ga.

She grew up in Decatur, Ga. Attended Towers High School and later went into Beauty College where she became a hairdresser. She got married Nov 1969 and moved to Camp Lejeune, Okinawa Japan, Quantico Virginia where she would meet and become lifelong friends with many people. She divorced in 1980 at that time she moved back to Decatur with her two children Tesha and Bill, where she began working at her Aunt's gift shop in Atlanta. She went on to become a Worker's Comp Adjuster and retired after 20+ years from AIG claim services.

She loved to laugh and cut up with her friends and family. She was an avid animal lover and owned many pets over the years ranging from dogs, cats, a rabbit and a bearded dragon. Most of her later years were spent with her dogs, Charlie, Ollie and Roxie and her Cats Kit-Kat and Itty Bitty. She enjoyed outings with her Sunday school class to various places and she loved decorating for their yearly Christmas party. She look forward to spending time with her Children and Grandchildren and was able to go on a cruise for the 1st time with her Son. She spoiled her great-grandchildren any chance she had!
