Blanche Mary Weaver

Born on May 20, 1940, in Chicago, Illinois, passed away unexpectedly on August 6, 2026, in Cobb County, Georgia, at the age of 86.

Blanche dedicated many years of her professional life to the Internal Revenue Service, where she worked diligently until her retirement. Her career was marked by commitment and a strong work ethic, qualities that she carried into all aspects of her life.

Beyond her professional endeavors, Blanche found joy in simple pleasures. She was an avid enthusiast of online games and enjoyed the thrill of discovering treasures at yard sales. Her love for family was evident in the occasional get-togethers she cherished, often accompanied by her beloved fur kitty, Sammy.

As a long-time member of the local Senior Center, Blanche relished the camaraderie and companionship of her good friends Mary Jean, Elaine, and others, participating in day trips and weekly activities.

Blanche was preceded in death by her father, Frank Wallace; mother, Carolyn Wallace; brother, Frank Wallace Jr.; son, Glenn Menard; and grandson, Daniel Saltzgiver.

Her legacy continues through her surviving family: son Jeffrey Menard, daughter Pamela Menard, grandson Nicholas Davis and his wife Hailey, and her great-grandchildren Marissa, Ansley, Ryan, and Dana.

Blanche was a devoted mother who worked tirelessly for her family. Her resourcefulness was unmatched; if she couldn't afford something, she would make it herself, as evidenced by the Halloween costumes she crafted one year, which were more remarkable than anything store-bought.

She was an extraordinary grandmother, affectionately known as "Gma," whose love and warmth touched the lives of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Her family fondly remembers her as a loving and resilient woman who enriched their lives with her kindness and creativity.

Blanche Mary Weaver will be deeply mi ssed by all who knew her.
